Turmeric- Nature’s Chemotherapy

Turmeric is the bright yellow powder, which is a powerful medicine that’s been used in China and India as cures for a number of diseases and illnesses. It’s a staple food amongst Asian countries, and is a key ingredient in some Indian and Pakistani curries. The health benefits of turmeric lie in an active ingredient called curcumin, which gives it its yellow colour, therapeutic benefits and flavour. If you don't like curry then you can get a supplement curcumin at your health food shop or on line.
Here's a great article on the benefits of including turmeric in your diet. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory that not only works as well as anti-inflammatory drugs, but also has no side effects!
